I don't even think about shopping for the holidays until the twenty-third. I like that last minute rush, being down to the wire, I need to have that push to really look I think. Lucy is the hardest to shop for. She has loads of clothes and the like from working at Gladrags. She isn't a big reader, and doesn't care much for Quidditch. It's just a search really. Everyone is rather easy. Julie likes beaded things, and pretty things. Thirteen year old girl things. Madison likes little things, books, and the like. They're easy to buy for, simple. I'm just, I'm always looking for the best gifts. It can be a real search yeah?
I'm really looking forward to coming back to school. To having something to do besides babysitting for Madi. Doing chores, and reading the same things over and over. I've been taking all the quizzes out of Chic Teen Witch. They're rather lame, what is your perfect colour. What Quidditch star do you fancy? Joey Jenkins by the way, he is still fit for being like, what, thirty or something? What is your Amortentia. Just a bunch of crap really. Rather ridiculous and all to be honest. At least at school, we'll have Quidditch, and homework. Stuff to keep us really busy and all. I need to be busy again, the last "busy" thing I did was re-orginise my entire room, moved all the furniture around and all. It looked all right. I think I'll paint the walls next. Maybe purple.
I wish it would snow. I miss snow, we usually always get snow at Hogwarts. Down here in Dublin, I haven't seen any. How unfortunate. |
